The RRB Group D Recruitment is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards to fill Level-1 posts in Indian Railways. RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2026 – Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is the first and most important stage of the RRB Group D recruitment process. This objective-type online examination evaluates candidates on basic educational qualifications required for Level-1 posts.
The CBT consists of 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 90 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, while ⅓ mark is deducted for every incorrect response. Marks obtained in CBT are used to shortlist candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2026 – Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates shortlisted based on CBT merit are called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates are shortlisted at three times the community-wise vacancy. Qualifying the PET is mandatory and qualifying in nature.

RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2026 – Stage 3: Document Verification
