Shortlisted candidates from PET will be called for the Written Test at a ratio of 5 candidates per vacancy. The Written Test includes 100 multiple-choice questions on an OMR sheet, totaling 50 marks. Correct answers earn 0.5 marks each; no negative marking applies. Subjects include Elementary Arithmetic, General English, Logical Reasoning/Mental Ability, Assam’s History, Geography, Polity, Economy, and General Awareness/Current Affairs, with difficulty at Class IX-X level.
For Oral/Viva-Voce (maximum 5 marks), candidates are shortlisted at a ratio of 2 per vacancy based on combined PET and Written Test scores.
