Eligibility Requirements
➣ Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Proficiency in the local language, as required by the respective RRB, is mandatory. Basic computer knowledge is preferred. |
➣ Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent is required. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy. Proficiency in the local language and working knowledge of computers are desirable. |
➣ Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent, with at least 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, two years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution is required. |
➣ Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers): Specific educational qualifications and experience are needed for specialist roles such as IT Officer, Chartered Accountant, Law Officer, Treasury Manager, Marketing Officer, and Agricultural Officer. Applicants should refer to the official notification for detailed eligibility criteria for each specialist post. |
➣ Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution. |
➣ Language Proficiency: Applicants for Office Assistant posts must have proficiency in the local language of the State/UT where the respective RRB is located to be eligible for the interview. |

Selection Process
Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Selection will be through a two-tier examination, comprising an Online Preliminary Examination and an Online Main Examination. Provisional allotment will be determined based on marks obtained in the Main Examination.
Officer Scale-I: The selection process includes an Online Preliminary Examination, an Online Main Examination, and a Common Interview.
Officer Scale-II and Scale-III: Selection will be through a Single Level Online Examination followed by a Common Interview.
Negative Marking: There is a penalty for incorrect answers in the objective tests. For each wrong answer, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
