SSC CGL Exam Pattern
The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2025 will be held as a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) in two tiers. Candidates should note that the exam schedule mentioned in the official notification is tentative. Any updates or changes to the schedule will be announced solely on the SSC’s official website. Tier I (Computer Based Examination
Candidates appearing for the SSC CGL 2025 exam must take the Tier-I Computer-Based Examination conducted by the Commission. The exam pattern for Tier-I is structured as follows:

Normalization: Scores obtained in the Tier-I Computer-Based Examination, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized using the formula provided by the Commission in Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019. These normalized scores will be used to determine the final merit and cut-off marks.
Tier II (Compute Based Exam
Candidates who qualify in Tier-I will be eligible to appear for the Tier-II Examination.
