Assam JLEE Eligibility Requirements
Age Limit: Not specified.
Residency: Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must hold a recognized diploma of at least three years’ duration from any Polytechnic Institution in Assam affiliated with the State Council of Technical Education (SCTE).
A minimum overall score of 45% is required (40% for SC/ST candidates).
Final Year Students: Those appearing in their final diploma exams are eligible to apply but must present their original mark sheet and pass certificate at the time of admission.
Assam JLEE Application Fee
➥ The application fee of Rs. 2000/- (Two thousand only) should be paid online through SBI Collect, supporting Debit Card, Credit Card, and Net Banking options.
➥ Once paid, the examination fee is non-refundable.
➥ Candidates must ensure successful fee payment before the application deadline, or their application will be rejected.
➥ No queries about payment issues will be accepted after the last date of application submission.

The Joint Lateral Entry Examination (JLEE) is conducted by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for admission into the 3rd semester of B.Tech programs in various engineering institutes of Assam.
The online application process for JLEE 2025 begins on 23rd May 2025.
The last date to submit the online application form is 2nd June 2025.
