Eligibility Requirements
Age Criteria (cut-off: 1 February 2026): Applicants should be 20-28 years old, born between 2 February 1998 and 1 February 2006 (inclusive). Check your eligibility using our Age Calculator.
Age Relaxation: SC/ST: +5 years (max 33); OBC: +3 years (max 31); PwBD: +10-15 years by category. Ex-Servicemen: service period +3 years (max 50). No combined relaxations allowed.
Educational & Skills: Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD) from recognized university. Must know PC word processing and the regional language of applied office (tested in Language Proficiency Test).

Selection Process of RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026
RBI Assistant recruitment follows three major steps:
1. Preliminary Exam: Online objective test with English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning (100 marks, 60 minutes). Qualifying stage only.
2. Main Exam: Comprehensive online exam covering Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge (200 marks, 135 minutes). Final merit determined here.
3. Language Proficiency Test: Local language skills assessment (reading/writing/speaking) for the applied office. Mandatory final verification.
