DUPGET Eligibility Requirements

1. Master of Arts (MA): To be eligible for admission to the Master of Arts (MA) programs, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's Degree with Major/Honours in the relevant subject, with at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade.
• A Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission, and 45% marks overall in case of General Programme candidates, or an equivalent grade.
• Additionally, candidates who completed their qualifying exam under the CBCS system must have earned a minimum of 24 Credits in the subject they are applying for.

2. Master of Commerce (MCom): Candidates must fulfill one of these requirements for admission to the Master of Commerce (MCom) program:

• A Bachelor's Degree with Major/Speciality/Honours in the relevant subject, with at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade.
• A Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission, and 45% marks overall in case of General Programme candidates, or an equivalent grade.
• Candidates who passed the qualifying exam under CBCS must have completed a minimum of 24 Credits in the subject they are applying for.

3. Master of Science (MSc): To be eligible for the Master of Science (MSc) programs, candidates must meet the following conditions:

• A Bachelor's Degree with Major/Honours in the relevant subject, with at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade.
• A Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission, and 45% marks overall for General Programme candidates, or an equivalent grade.
• Those who passed their qualifying exam under CBCS must have studied a minimum of 24 Credits in the subject of application.

To The Applicants : Candidates who are appearing for or have appeared in the 6th Semester BA, BSc, or BCom examinations in 2025 and are awaiting their results are eligible to take the DUPGET and may receive provisional admission if selected.

Additionally, candidates who are appearing for or have appeared in the Final Semester Examinations but have backlogs in the 2nd or 4th Semester are also eligible to sit for the DUPGET and may be granted provisional admission if selected.

DUPGET Exam Structure

Exam Type: The entrance exam will be a written test conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets.

Exam Date: DUPGET 2025 is scheduled to be held on 7th and 8th July 2025 as per the official announcement.
