◾Name of exam: This is Dibrugarh University B.Ed. CET 2025, held for admission into the B.Ed. course.

Dibrugarh University B.ED Admission 2025
Dibrugarh University has announced the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed. CET) 2025 for admission into the 2-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme for the academic session 2025–2027. The entrance exam will be held on 12th July 2025. Candidates seeking admission to B.Ed. courses offered by the university's Department of Education and affiliated colleges must appear and qualify in this entrance test.
The online application process will start from 5th May 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official portal. All necessary admission details are mentioned below.
Dibrugarh University B.ED Admission - Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold at least 50% aggregate marks in either their Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Science, Social Science, or Humanities. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (with specialization in Science or Mathematics) from Dibrugarh University or any recognized institution must have secured a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade to be eligible.
Note: Those who have scored 50% or more in their Honours/Major subject but have less than 50% marks in the overall aggregate of their degree are not eligible. Admission requires a minimum of 50% aggregate marks across all subjects of the qualifying degree.
Entrance Requirement: All candidates must appear for and pass the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed. CET) conducted by Dibrugarh University for the relevant academic year.
Relaxation of Marks: A 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks (or equivalent Grade Point) will be granted to the following categories:
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MOBC, or PWD categories.
- Candidates with at least five years of teaching experience in schools recognized up to Class 10 level by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.
Important: Candidates can claim this relaxation under only one of the above categories, not multiple.
Dibrugarh University B.ED Admission - Application Fee
To complete the application process for the B.Ed CET 2025, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/-. The fee must be paid online only through the designated payment gateway using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking.
Important: No other mode of payment will be accepted. Payments made through offline methods will not be considered valid.

Dibrugarh University B.ED Admission - Selection Process
The selection for admission to the B.Ed. Program at any affiliated institution under Dibrugarh University will be determined based on the following criteria:
◾A Common Entrance Test (CET) will be held centrally, with a total of 70 marks.
◾The candidate’s academic performance will contribute a maximum of 30 marks, based on the percentage obtained in the HSLC, HS, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s Degree examinations.
◾10% of the marks obtained in each of the HSLC, HS, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree exams will be used to calculate the career performance score.
◾For instance, if a candidate scores 53% in their Bachelor’s degree (Major or Aggregate), their career performance score for that exam will be 5.3.
