SSC MTS Result 2026

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the CBT for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar posts from 4–15 February 2026. This recruitment covers 4375 MTS and 1089 Havaldar vacancies under CBIC and CBN. Candidates who appeared are now waiting for the result declaration.

SSC has not announced an official result date yet. Based on past trends, tentative answer keys are released first, followed by the final result. Keep visiting the SSC website ssc.gov.in for updates.

SSC MTS 2025 Exam Pattern

The CBT had two sessions. Session-I: Numerical & Math Ability (20 Qs, 60 marks) and Reasoning (20 Qs, 60 marks) – 45 minutes. Session-II: General Awareness (25 Qs, 75 marks) and English (25 Qs, 75 marks) – 45 minutes. No negative marking in Session-I; Session-II has -1 for wrong answers. Available in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages.

SSC evaluates Session-I first; only qualifiers appear for Session-II evaluation. Final merit is based on normalized Session-II scores.

MTS & Havaldar Selection Process 2026

MTS selection is based entirely on CBE scores, with separate category- and State/UT-wise cut-offs in Session-II. For Havaldar, candidates are shortlisted in a 1:7 ratio for Physical Efficiency (PET) and Physical Standard Tests (PST) by CBIC/CBN.

Those who do not qualify the Havaldar PET/PST remain eligible for MTS posts based on CBE merit. Minimum qualifying marks: 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS, and 20% for other categories.

Pre-Result Process

Before announcing the final result, SSC will release provisional answer keys online. Candidates can review them and submit objections at ₹100 per question. After considering all objections, SSC finalizes the answer keys, which are then used to calculate results. The finalized keys are published after the result declaration.
