SSC CGL 2025 Application Fee

  • Applicants can make the payment online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit/Debit cards. Alternatively, payment can be made in cash at any SBI branch by generating the SBI Challan.

SSC CGL2025 Eligibility Requirements

1. Age Limit

The candidates must be at least 18 years old and not older than 32 years as of the specified cut-off date.

Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from specific categories as per government rules:

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.
  • OBC candidates: 3 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.
  • PwD candidates: 10 years of relaxation in the upper age limit, 13 years for OBC candidates, and 15 years for SC/ST candidates.
  • Ex-servicemen (ESM): Relaxation as per government norms, typically up to 5 years.

Other categories: Relaxations as applicable under the government’s rules and regulations for various categories such as defense personnel, residents of Jammu & Kashmir, etc.

2. Educational Qualification

• Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Desirable Qualification: Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant, Company Secretary, or Master’s degrees in Commerce, Business Studies, Business Administration (Finance), or Business Economics.
Note: During probation, direct recruits are required to pass the “Subordinate Audit/Accounts Service Examination” to confirm their regular appointment.

• Junior Statistical Officer:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute, with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level, or a degree with Statistics as one of the subjects.

• Other Posts

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Candidates in their final year of graduation may apply, but they must have completed the essential qualification by the cut-off date (08-10-2025).

3. Nationality

  • The candidate must be one of the following:
  • An Indian citizen.
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention to permanently settle.
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
