SSC Selection Post Recruitment 2026
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the official notification for the Selection Post Phase-XIV/2026 recruitment drive. A total of 3003 vacancies have been announced for multiple Ministries, Departments, and Central Government organizations. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications through the SSC official portal from 13 April 2026 to 4 May 2026.
This recruitment includes posts across three qualification levels: Matriculation (10th pass), Higher Secondary (10+2), and Graduation or higher. Vacancies are distributed across all nine SSC regional offices. The available positions include Junior Engineer, Scientific Assistant, Vocational Instructor, Nursing Officer, Medical Attendant, Surveyor, Personal Assistant, and other roles. Applicants applying for more than one post must submit separate applications along with the required fee for each post.
The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) is expected to be held in June 2026. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages. A penalty of 0.50 marks will be applied for every incorrect answer under the negative marking scheme.

| Step 2: Complete your One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done. Old OTR from the previous SSC portal (ssc.nic.in) will not be valid on the new website. |
| Step 3: Log in using your Registration Number and Password, then click on “Apply” under the “Phase-XIV/2026/Selection Posts Examination” section. |
| Step 4: Fill in all required details, capture your live photograph using webcam/mobile, and upload your scanned signature in JPEG format (10–20 KB, 6.0 cm × 2.0 cm). |

Exam Pattern
The Computer-Based Examination will include 100 objective-type multiple choice questions carrying a total of 200 marks. The test is structured into four sections, each with a sectional time limit of 15 minutes. Candidates eligible for scribe assistance will be given 80 minutes in total (20 minutes per section).
