SSUHS Entrance Exam 2026

On March 10, 2026, Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) announced the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 for DPharm and BPharm admissions. This combined exam also includes B.Sc. Nursing and allied healthcare courses, but this article covers only pharmacy details. The test is set for June 7, 2026.

Note: Pharmacy applicants must select English, Physics, Chemistry plus one elective—Biology OR Mathematics. This subject choice is final once online application is submitted.

Exam Pattern for Pharmacy Candidates

Questions No. 1-75 cover English, Physics, and Chemistry—mandatory for all Pharmacy candidates.

Questions 76-100 split into Biology OR Mathematics sections. Answer only the subject chosen during application.

Tie-Breaking Rule

In case of equal total marks, merit ranking follows: Biology/Maths (chosen subject) → Chemistry → Physics → English.

If still tied, HS subject marks from the respective subjects will be checked during counselling.

Eligibility for D.Pharm & B.Pharm

Citizenship: Must be Indian nationals.

Residence: PRC needed for Assam Government quota seats.

Academic Requirements: HS (10+2) Science passed in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths (no grace marks allowed). Both theory & practical passed separately. Open school/NIOS students cannot apply for B.Pharm.

Minimum Age: 17+ years as on 31 Dec 2026. Verify using Age Calculator.

Health: Medically fit certificate required.

Application Fee: Pay non-refundable exam fee online through SSUHS payment gateway. PwD (Divyang) with 40%+ disability exempted. Category fees listed on University site.

Additional DPharm & BPharm Exam Information

The 2026 D.Pharm & B.Pharm entrance test occurs on 7 June across Assam and NE capitals. Centers outside Assam (Shillong, Aizawl, Itanagar, Agartala, Imphal, Dimapur, Gangtok) subject to applicant numbers and state approval.

Seat Reservation Policy
