Assam TET Results 2025
On 19th January 2025, the Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam, conducted the Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test 2024. This exam was held to fill 1,487 Post Graduate Teacher positions and 8,230 Graduate Teacher vacancies in Arts, Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit.
Candidates who appeared for the Assam TET exam can check their results and marksheet on the official DSE website. Additionally, all candidates can also view their results on this page. The official result will be declared on 30th May 2025 at 11 AM.

Assam TET Merit List Details
The number of candidates qualifying in the TET Recruitment Exam will be equal to the number of advertised vacancies, following a 1:1 ratio. Individual Merit Lists will be created for each subject and stream. Candidates’ scores in the TET exam for a particular subject or stream will be filtered from the overall results and compiled into a dedicated Merit List for that stream. This method will be followed for all other streams as well.
In case some posts remain unfilled after the publication of the initial Merit List, up to two additional Merit Lists may be issued to fill the remaining vacancies.

Assam TET GT & PGT Merit List Process
The preparation of the Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Merit Lists will be based on the following guidelines:
Qualified Candidates: The number of candidates declared qualified in the TET cum Recruitment Exam will match the total number of advertised vacancies, maintaining a 1:1 ratio.
Merit List Publication: If any vacancies remain unfilled after the release of the first Merit List based on the 1:1 ratio, up to two additional Merit Lists may be published to fill those remaining posts. For Post Graduate Teachers, separate subject-wise Merit Lists will be prepared.
Merit List Formation Process: The marks obtained by candidates in the TET cum Recruitment Exam will be sorted subject-wise. For each subject, a distinct Merit List will be generated by filtering the subject-specific scores from the overall results. This procedure will be applied to all remaining subjects as well.
