For the post of DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture:
  • Candidates should have completed 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized Board or an equivalent qualification.

  • Or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
  • Or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle here permanently,

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern Tiet - II

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has introduced changes in the Tier 2 exam pattern for SSC CHSL 2025. The revised structure is as follows:

Tier II is divided into three sections, with two modules in each:

Section 1:
  • Module I – Mathematical Abilities
  • Module II – Reasoning and General Intelligence

Section 2:
  • Module I – English Language and Comprehension
  • Module II – General Awareness

Section 3:
  • Module I – Computer Knowledge Test

#The exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day:

#Session I will cover Section 1, Section 2, and Module I of Section 3.

#Session II will include Module II of Section 3.

#The test comprises objective multiple-choice questions, except for the Skill/Typing Test in Section 3 Module II.

#All questions (except English Language & Comprehension) will be available in both English and Hindi.


Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response in Section 1, Section 2, and Module I of Section 3 during Session I.
