Eligibility Requirements

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Indian Constitution.

Residency: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. To verify domicile status, a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate must be uploaded as proof of residency.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must possess a B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree or its equivalent from a recognized university, with recognition from the Government of Assam.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 01-01-2025.

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: 5 years (up to 43 years)

OBC/MOBC: 3 years (up to 41 years)

Ex-Servicemen & Govt. Employees: Up to 50 years (additional 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 5 years for SC/ST)

PwBD: 10 years for all categories

Age will be determined based on the Date of Birth mentioned in the Class X/XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Marksheet from a recognized Board/Council. No other documents will be accepted.

Small Family Norms: As per Govt. Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17 dated 6th November 2019, candidates must submit a declaration in Form-A confirming adherence to the Small Family Norms while applying for the post.
