RRB Selection Process
The recruitment for the Section Controller post will be carried out through multiple phases to assess candidates' eligibility and suitability for the role.
Phase 1: Single-Phase Computer Based Test (CBT): This test will consist of 100 objective-type questions to be completed within 120 minutes. Each incorrect answer will attract a negative marking of one-third.
Phase 2: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Based on their CBT scores, candidates up to eight times the total number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the CBAT. This test will not have any negative marking.
Phase 3: Document Verification (DV): Candidates will be called for document verification according to the combined merit of CBT (70% weightage) and CBAT (30% weightage).
Phase 4: Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully clear the document verification phase will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the A-2 medical standards.
